Mitochondria Gallery is pleased to present “Reflections of Her,” a duo exhibition featuring visual artists Awanle Ayiboro Hawa Ali (Ghanaian, b. 1997) and Boluwatife Victoria Lawal (b. Nigeria, 1995).
“Reflections of Her,” critically documents many of the conditions experienced by women in our society. The exhibition examines the intricacies associated with finding one’s authentic self. It tells stories of healing, courage, self identification, and acceptance.
