About the Artist : Kayode Ejioye
Kayode Ejioye was born in 1985, at Ikole-Ekiti, located in the state of Ekiti, Nigeria. He moved to Lagos state, before his teenage years where his creative interests grew in middle and high school. During this period, he signed up for an after hour school program for graphic design to cultivate his passion. He went on to study Art and Industrial design at Lagos Polytechnic, Ikorodu.
Kayode, employs impressionism to document his stories on figurine and landscape painting, where he uses oil to convey his suggestive and bold brush strokes on the canvas. His works have been featured in multiple group exhibitions and private collections, in Nigeria and beyond.
