About the Artist : Toluwani Awodiya
Toluwani Awodiya was born and raised in Ota, in the state of Ogun, Nigeria. His earliest memory of art having a strong impact in his life came from an experience in elementary school where he witnessed a classmate making paper airplanes. This piqued his curiosity and he attempted to make his own. He realized he was quite good at it and his classmates would ask him to craft paper planes for them as well. His artistic talents were further encouraged by his uncle who is an artist and sculptor. His artistic style is what he refers to as expressionism. He uses art to express himself with motifs, vibrant colors, and pigments.
His works are featured in multiple group exhibitions and private collections across the world
