Return Policy

Mitochondria Gallery pays to pack, insure, and ship all original artwork and prints to collectors in the United States and abroad.  Before making any purchase, please ensure that the artwork meets your needs. Measure your wall spaces, assess the style, medium, etc. of the artwork to make sure the artwork is for you. 

If you have any questions, please email us as info@mitochondriagallery.com before you make a purchase. 

If you would like to return or exchange your order, or if there is an issue with the artwork you received, please email us within 7 days of shipment arrival at this email address:  info@mitochondriagallery.com. If you notify us after 7 days, we can not offer you a refund. If you notify us of any damage or issues with the artwork, within the first 7 days, the item must be returned during the 7 day time window. 

To a receive a full refund, a painting must be returned in the same condition that you received it in.  Please use the original shipping container (does not apply to severely damaged containers) and return the artwork with all accompanying certificates and documents you received with your order.  To complete your return, we require your invoice and receipt of purchase.  We require that you use a trackable shipping service and that you purchase shipping insurance for the full value of the artwork (as was the case when we shipped to you). You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We will not honor returns that arrive in poor condition.

We do not accept returns on international shipments.

Damaged Items: Packages are insured with a signature required upon receipt. If the package arrives damaged, please take a photo of the entire package and the damaged area before you open the package. Open the damaged package in front of the carrier who delivered it. Be sure the carrier documents the damage. Please notify us immediately if there are any problems. Retain the damaged item, packaging, and all contents until we have resolved the matter. Send all images of damages to info@mitochondriagallery.com For a claim, all carriers will want to see all packaging materials as well as the images of the damaged item.

Order Tracking

When will my order be shipped?

 You will be notified when your order has shipped. Artworks that are part of ongoing exhibitions, will be shipped at the conclusion of the exhibition. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for international orders.

When will I receive a shipping tracking number?

Tracking details will be emailed to you once your order has shipped.

Do you ship internationally?

Mitochondria Gallery ships internationally.  The price of shipping varies based on size of artwork and location.

International shipping charges are reflected in your shopping cart, after you enter the shipping address, at checkout.  Taxes and duties do not apply.

Why am I being charged extra by customs?

Mitochondria Gallery does not collect international taxes and duties in your order.  If you are an international buyer, you are responsible for import cost and charges.

Terms and Conditions

How do I pay for my order?

We accept payment in the following forms:

PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Is ordering online secure?

Protecting your private data is our highest priority at Mitochondria gallery. We Secure Sockets Layer to ensure we protect your data.

When will I be Charged?

All orders shall be charged in full at the time of purchase.

What is your cancellation policy?

Before making any purchase please ensure that the artwork
meets your needs. Measure your wall spaces, assess the style, medium, etc. of
the artwork to make sure the artwork is for you. 
Please send an email to info@mitochondriagallery.com to request cancellation within 24 hours of
the transaction.

Will I be charged taxes for USA orders?

For orders in the USA, Mitochondria gallery may apply state sales tax during checkout.

Will I be charged taxes for international orders?

International taxes and duties are not included in your order. Mitochondria Gallery is not responsible for any billing applied by any state outside of the United States of America.

Can I put in an offer that is different from the asking price?

If you want to make us an offer on a specific artwork, please fill out the make an offer form below the artwork you desire, and we will get back to you within 48 hours.

What currency are your items priced in?

All artworks are in the currency of the United State of America dollar. All orders are charged in United State dollars.

Typographical Errors

If an artwork listed for sale by Mitochondria Gallery is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price or item quantity available. Mitochondria Gallery reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Mitochondria Gallery reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Mitochondria Gallery will issue a full credit back to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. Mitochondria Gallery is not responsible for typographical or photographical errors. Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.

In purchasing any artwork on this website, you obtain no copyright rights or other intellectual property rights of any form in the content and may not duplicate or republish the art or photography for any reason, including, but not limited to, commercial purposes. You further understand and agree that in selecting any content and in adding text or other alterations to such content, you in no way obtain copyright rights or other intellectual property rights in the content as joint copyright owner or otherwise.

Privacy Policy

Mitochondria Gallery will not sell, rent, lease, share, or transfer the personal information we collect.
